Maine Voters Approve Five of Six Bond Issues on Maine Ballot

Bond issues that would provide funds to support Maine agriculture projects, small business loans, a center for cancer research, clean water projects and marine related investments are all projected to win approval.

The Bangor Daily News is projecting wins for five of six bonds on the Maine ballot, totaling about $50 million.

The sixth bond issue is still too close to call. That measure would provide $3,000,000 to construct a 3,000-square-foot training facility at the MDI Biological Laboratory in Bar Harbor.
