HERMON, Maine - Brenda Garrand, Sam Surprise and Irwin Gratz usually gather to talk about political advertising - how it looks and sounds, the strategies that may lie behind it.
Friday, they set out to find out what impressions those ads, and the rest of this year's campaign, might be leaving on regular folks. So they went to Dysart's Truck Stop and Restaurant in Hermon.
