The experience includes a welcome sample of Allagash White. Starting May 1st we are tasting: Floating Holiday - blonde with lemon and sea salt, Dark Lager with Cherries, Cellar's #11 - barrel blend with wine grapes, and World on a String - bourbon barrel aged amber inspired by an "Old Fashioned" cocktail. Final pour is a "choose your own adventure" sample between two rotating options.

Tour-goers must be 21 or older. Infant-wearing is welcome - the tour path through our manufacturing plant is not suitable for young children or strollers. Guests who are not drinking beer will have a choice of NA beverage. Dogs are not allowed on this manufacturing plant tour.
The Lewiston Public Library, in partnership with ArtVan, will be offering art programs in the Children’s Department for children ages 5-14 every Monday from June 23rd-August 18th from 3:00PM-4:30PM.
Children aged 5-8 must be accompanied by an adult.
Make Art with ArtVan is free, open to the public, and no registration is required. All art supplies will be provided.
The Lewiston Public Library is located downtown at 200 Lisbon Street at the corner of Pine Street.

The Lewiston Public Library is starting a monthly crafters’ meet up this July. This new Maker Monday program will meet every first Monday of the month from 4-6:30pm in the Couture Room, beginning on July 7th.
The purpose of this program is to allow adults a space to connect and create together to foster community and allow crafters to learn from each other without barriers. Participants can bring a DIY or art project with them or make use of library-provided supplies to express their creativity. Participants may show up at any time between 4 and 6:30pm, and crafters of all skill levels are welcome to attend.

Coinciding with each of our summer workshop sessions, Haystack faculty, visiting artists, Fab Lab residents, and studio assistants give presentations about their work, sharing ideas and influences with members of our community. These presentations take place in the Gateway Auditorium and are free and open to the public.

Each summer, Wayside partners with Cultivating Community, The Book Fairy, Locker Project, Garbage to Garden, The City of Portland, the Children's Museum, various locally owned businesses, and musicians to host four Pop up Picnics at community gardens. In 2024 we expanded our picnic offerings by partnering with Portland Trails to develop their efforts with new Mainers to use the trails throughout the city and answer questions or concerns to raise comfort with using the trails.
