Weighing Maine's Debt: The Impact of New Borrowing Proposals

In addition to the governor's race, the Senate and congressional, legislative and local contests, there will be six bond issues on next week's Maine ballot. They would authorize $50 million more in state borrowing, to be paid back over a decade. State Treasurer Neria Douglas tracks the state's indebtedness. She talks with Irwin Gratz Monday from MPBN's Augusta bureau.
