AUGUSTA, Maine - Maine's Republican U.S. Rep. Bruce Poliquin has raised nearly $380,000 in the latest reporting period to support his re-election bid.
The 2nd District congressman's campaign said Tuesday he has raised more than $1.1 million to date. He has donated more than $3,000 to his own campaign and has nearly $950,000 cash on hand.
Poliquin says he's pleased with the support but his campaign has a long way to go.
The first-term congressman is being challenged by Emily Cain, a former Democratic state senator who lost to him last November.
Cain's campaign says she raised $152,000 in the latest reporting period and $288,000 to date. It says she has $250,000 on hand.
Poliquin plans to file his fundraising report with the Federal Election Commission on Wednesday. The reporting period covers donations made between April 1 and June 30.
